CAMPAIGNING
JOURNALIST

I’m a journalist and film-maker with a long career in broadcasting, investigative reporting, photography, and campaigning on issues I'm passionate about.
I’ve spent many years presenting the case against Brexit and for EU membership. I also helped to launch Campaign Coffee, which became the prelude to Fairtrade in the UK. More recently, I won a case against the Daily Mail for publishing an untrue story about Romanians and Bulgarians.
My latest project is a 25-minute documentary based on a recent talk about my life and career.
It includes interviewing the Prime Minister at 18, being locked in a shed full of crocodiles, tracking down villains with Roger Cook on the BBC, and the comical consequences of having the most memorable phone number in my home town.
